6 months pregnant already? hurray time is flying

Spread the love

hurray! you are finally 6 months pregnant. This is an exciting moment or should i say time for most mother to be.

Reason being is that you are finally going to be closing the chapter of your second trimester, and will be soon entering your third and final trimester.

In this month you obviously will go through some of the symptoms that you have been getting, but all that does not really compare to the joy of knowing and feeling your growing baby’s kicks and developments.

during this time your baby is already used to life in the womb, kinda like a champ in there. He begins to react to loud sounds or your voice by kicking when he is awake. Guess what? your little one has finger prints and toe prints, so cute right?

At this stage your baby probably weighs about 2 pounds and is about 12 inches in size. His veins are visible by now through his skin. Your baby’s are are not completely closed, but of course they open a little bit here and there.

6 months pregnant symptoms:

Backaches: During this stage you stomach looks kinda big and so due to that weight increase on your tummy your back muscles get affected, which in turn cause lower back pains.

Solution: A warm bath can help sooth the back pain.

Dizziness: During this time like i said, a lot is going on the lower part of the body and due to that not a lot of blood flow is happening on the upper body which includes the head.

Solution: Drink a lot of water, take plenty of rest. DO NOT OVER WORK.

Fast heartbeat: Remember when you had to go on your first date, all nervous. Exactly like that your nervousness to meet your little one may cause fast heartbeat. Besides that the other reason is that your heart is pumping more blood than usual.

Solution: consult your doctor. If you feel something is not right during pregnancy, do not stay worried but speak to your doctor. STRESS IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU OR THE BABY.

Itching: Due to the fact that your stomach is growing, it is obviously stretching to make more space for the baby.

Solution: Do not scratch although that could be tempting. Try moisturizer that is fragrance free.
