It is no surprise that our little ones are always on the move, discovering and exploring everything around them. It does tire a person when you think about.
Touring a country is nothing compared to what our little ones are exploring. They are new comers to this world, how much cuter can it get.
Being the parent can get exhausting when our little ones begin to move up and about. Both parents and baby need enough rest and energy for the next day.
So i would like to share 6 tips on how to help the little get some rest.
Below are the 6 tips:
- Go for a walk in the park or just around the neighborhood
This tip is so helpful because the baby tends to look at so many things and so many colours, all that i can say is that it certainly makes the baby tired.
2. Give the little one a long bath
Taking a bath always soothes a person no matter the age. Similarly heat up the bathroom place the baby in the tub and let them have some fun for a few minutes and bam that drowsy feeling sets in already.
3. Massage
By massage i dont mean fancy oils etc., all i mean is that using the lotion that you normally use, try applying it in a way that you are a giving a relaxing massage to the baby, it helps calm them.
4. Story time
Read your baby a story preferably the one with pictures and colour it tires the eyes. And it helps them sleep peacefully. And ofcourse dont read any horror stories for the baby, that’s a bad idea.
5. Dim the lights
It is in the little ones mindset light means day and dark means night. So by dimming the lights it helps in sending the message to your little one that the time to sleep has come.
6. Breastfeeding
As for our tiny angel’s milk is the final step, always does the trick.
So my dear friends those are the points i would like to share, these points have helped me alot. Being a parent whether first time or not we need to understand that every child is different they are not always the same.
What used to work for the other baby might not work for this baby, but we dont give up and just keep on learning.
