former Al Ahli Centre-back Sheriff Abdelfadir Current coach says Pizomoshimane Better than his predecessor Switzerland Rene Weiler..

However, he also emphasized the mistake that Moshimane lost to Simba SC 1-0 at the CAF Champions League in Tanzania last week.

Pitso Mosimane’s overall record since being taken over by Al Ahli has been 26 games, 20 wins, 4 draws and 2 losses.

A former Mamelodi Sundowns mentor took over last october, leading the Egyptian giant to treble.

With different levels of expectations at the Club of the Century, the defeat against Simba was highly criticised by former players and pundits in Egypt while a meeting was called by president Mahmoud El-Khatib on Friday.

But Abdel-Fadil suggested to On-Time sports that Mosimane is generally a ‘better’ tactician than Weiler based on the structure that’s been evident since his arrival from Mamelodi Sundowns – but shouldn’t be devoid of criticism.

“Simba’s players have very great skills and [are] very fast, and the coach applied a distinctive plan, they completely exhausted Al Ahly by playing large parts of the game passing in midfield.”

“Moshimane surprised us with a defensive play style [against Simba].. Simba players are skilled and fast paced. “ Abdelfadir said.

“Moshimane was able to connect the lines and give the team the ball, so it was wrong not to start with Ahusha.”

When asked about his personal opinion, former Al Ahli defenders concluded that mosimane was superior to Wyler.

The Egyptian Giants will act next in the Egyptian Premier League against Ergaish on Sunday, February 28.

Al Ahli’s next match in CAF Champions league will feature the AS Vita Club in Cairo on Saturday, March 6th.

The record nine-time African Champions are third-place in Group A after two games ahead of their next group stage clash against Linafoot giants AS Vita Club.
