Are we 8 months pregnant already? Mama’s tummy must be quiet big by now. Getting things done is not the same like before.
This is an exciting month for most mama’s because soon that bundle of joy will be placed right on your chest for the first time. How beautiful is that just thinking of it makes you nervous I guess. Like remember how nervous you get when meeting someone special for the first time? Well the moment you have been waiting for is soon to come one more month left hurray🥳🥳🥳.
What happens to your body during the 8th month?
- Shortness of breath, it seems the more the stomach grows the shorter your breath seems but don’t worry it is all part of the process because your uterus is growing.
- Varicose veins, silver stripes what ever you know it as must have appeared by now, do not worry because all this is happening because your skin is stretching giving your bundle of joy the space that he/she needs.
- Fatigue, in other words you must be feeling tired every now and then and you wonder where all this tiredness is coming from. Well don’t sweat it, the reason is because your stomach must be huge by now. You are carrying a weight that you never usually carried before. It happens now that the tummy is huge sleeping isn’t so comfortable at all ready for most part of the night.
What is baby up to?
Weight: Your baby is probably weighing about 2.27kg I.e 5 pounds.
Size: Your baby is probably around 18 inches long in size.
Appearance: Almost all of your baby’s developments are done except for lungs, but that’s not something to worry about because baby’s born around this time are also fine.
Time is clicking so fast, in no time that little bundle of joy will be there with you.
All you gotta do is carry on eating healthy drinking plenty of water and doing your pelvic exercises.
