An interesting fact before we begin, did you know that the word ”Elephant” is actually Latin for ”huge Arch”these animal do live up to their name, they certainly are huge in size.
There are many types of elephants that have existed till date, but my focus in this article is mainly on the African bush elephant.
The African bush elephant is also known as the African savanna elephant. They are known to be the largest living terrestrial mammal out of 3 elephant species. Having the life span of up to 60-70 years.
An interesting thing about elephants is that they have an amazing social behavior, they are known to stay in family groups. Funny fact is that elephants have sensitive feet through which they communicate when the seismic waves pass through the ground.
