Rabbits are actually small mammals in the same family as Hare. Rabbits are more than just our furry little companions, they actually have different descriptions in different countries.

  1. In Central Africa a Rabbit is called ”Kalulu” and is described to be a trickster figure.
  2. In China a Rabbit is called ”Tuzi”, it is actually one of the 12 celestial animals in the Chinese zodiac.
  3. In Japan a Rabbit is called ”Usagi” it has been interpreted that the pattern of dark patches on the moon is a rabbit standing on its tiptoes while pounding on an usu, a Japanese mortar.

During the 600 BC, a belief came about that is found in many parts of the world till today which was found as being a practice used by people Europe i.e., carrying a rabbits foot as an amulet brings protection and good luck.

In another part of Britain and North America, it is believed that invoking the rabbits name may bring luck.

Rabbit facts:

  1. Their teeth never stops growing, can u imagine.
  2. They eat their own poop, oh my! i guess you did not see that one coming.
  3. Young rabbits are called kittens. it seems not only are young cats known as kittens( wink ).
  4. Rabbits sleep with their eyes open. can you imagine?
  5. They cannot puke, wow imagine having a horrible meal and not getting to puke.

people usually say anything green mainly hay or grass.

  1. Lettuce
  2. carrots
  3. apples without seeds
  4. strawberries
  5. water
  6. celery
